how many fusion reciepients have degenerative disc disese afterward's??

hi everyone scott here going for second fusion wedsday jan 02, .08 will be fused from c3-c7. prior fusion at c5-7. also have a cyst in spinal cord at c6 c7 level also was told by my ortho surgeon i have disc disease which wasnt there before first fusion. anyone else experience this problem?
