My problem is Huge Arachnoid Cyst Found on the arachnoid membrane in the spine. I have been experiencing headaches for quite some time but to be honest, in the beginning I have not thought much about it. I mean, there was pain, but nothing serious so I chose to ignore it and just take some medications for headache. They helped in the beginning, but later I was forced to visit a doctor. He said that my only option is surgery. Does it have to be that way?

I am afraid that it must be done. This is a congenital disorder whose main symptoms are headaches, seizures sometimes, intracranial pressure and hemi paresis (if arachnoid cyst is positioned in the brain). This cyst is formed from arachnoidal cells and collagen tissue. It could get complicated so operation is the only solution for this.
