Rash and swelling after surgery

I had lower disc surgery around two weeks ago. Now I have a rash on my buttock with the siatica and swelling and burning right under the same buttock. There is no redness and although I don't tend to run fever anyway, I don't have any fever. Got any ideas? thanks md
