I've had a c6, c7 plate fitted through front neck, I had blood clot post op and my neck feels tight

Iv had a c6c7 plate fitted through front neck as fractured in accident and about 4 weeks post op through had two ops within three days as I had blood clot . However my neck still feels tight . Can someone tell me if this is normal please
