Sharp pains when swallowing foods near the sternum area

For the past two weeks i have been experiencing sharp pains in the sternum area while eating my food when i drink water the pains reduce but when the water reaches the stomach the pains begin until my meal is over. Could you please reccomend some solutions? THanks
