Hi, has anyone done Barnes basal temperature test to diagnose hypothyroidism. How is it performed? Do I need to use thermometer right after getting up or as still being in bed?

PTH levels erratic

I don't know if anyone has ever heard of this before.  I had high PTH and calcium but then my PTH dropped to way below normal then back up again.  Blood tests were done every few months so I wonder if the PTH is bouncing around like crazy in between tests.  I can't find any information on this...

my best friend has just told me that she has a lump in her throat she went for blood tests which showed nothing. She has got to go for a biopsy. what are the chances of this being cancer? :-(
