Recently i was diagnosed with Hyperthroids, but the endocrinologist said that i have somewhat stabilized without medications, but a a recent sonogram shows that my thyroid glands are swollen.  I have a endoscopy scheduled soon, how will this effect me and are there any major risks involved.

can anyone tell me if they was over weight with there thyroid, i weigh around 12.5 to 13 stone i go to keep fit classes and go swimming 4 times a week. but cant seem to get my weight below 12.5 stone. and just wonderd if i had part of my thyroid removed if this would help in anyway.

Hi This is pravallika.I'm 24 yr old.I'm having this thyroid problem form past 5 yrs.I'm taking proper medicine and it is under control.At present it is normal.I have read some where that thyroid will affect the pregancy.Is it true.Please let me know.I'm having thyronorm 25 mcg. once a day.
