Very Firm Lower Abdomen

I am living with my brother in campus. We share the same room. Since this morning he is feeling pains in his stomach. He had very firm lower abdomen, especially on the right side where the pain is occurring. He has started to vomit recently. What can it be? Please help!

urq pain

I have been suffering from RUQ pain for four moths. I did some tests but I had been told that it is IBS. I did ultrasound of the liver and it looked ok, but I am still worried about liver and gallbladder. What else can I do to make sure that I did everything that is possible?
