Does anybody here have experience with using depilatory/hair removal cream on the pubic area?

Help! I used hair removal cream on my pubic area because I was desperate and wanted the hair gone fast. TMI, but the hair is still there and really short now and itches a lot. :( I really Has this happened to anyone else here? If so, what did you do about it to fix it??
