Well this is a bit embaressing. <.<

It started as a small hard lump 1-2months ago. When I noticed it. At the time I had shaved down there. So I thought it was razer bumps. The ones on top went away and I forgot about the lower bump.

Today it stung right before bed so I had to check and I find it's gotten bigger. Maybe the size of a marble? It feels like a bug bite and hurts like one too.

I run for the mirror and take a look. It's not very visable from the outside however pinching it. You can feel a hard mass.

I did a little searching around about bumps in this area. None really got my heart for a answer. I don't think its a bartholin gland. The diagrams I was looking at. It's to high for that. It's like lower and more up the left leg.

Details:

I'm female, 21 years old

I'm also a virgin and haven't been sexually active. I haven't even got a first kiss yet. So I'm pretty sure its not a STD.

My period has always been flip floppy. I've notice if I get a cold it'll skip for that month. (I started at 14-15 of age.)

I get depressed frequently. (I don't take meds for it. I just kind of deal with it. I don't like the idea of long term medications.)

I'm honestly a bit frighten and will be going to the doctor when I can.

(Hopefully I can pull money out the wazoooo. <.< And hopefully won't kill me in the mean time.)

It sounds like it may be a boil of some sort.  A boil can start as an infected hair follicle and then become bigger as time goes.  A hard core of pus can develop causing a lot of pain in the area.  You will need to go see your doctor about having this taken care of.  He/she will numb the area before lancing it so that the infection will drain.  Then you will be placed on antibiotics to treat the boil so it will heal.  This will not get better on its own, unfortunately. You will feel much better once you have it taken care of at your doctor's.

It sounds like a perineum lump. It can be an abscess or something more serious and should be seen by a doctor for a biopsy, if necessary. It should be seen immediately and this woman may need antibiotic treatment.
