I have been off effexor for two weeks now and I love the feeling!! I have been tied to effexor that I was just so sick of. I wanted off and it was hell!I read the posts and I did it with ease!!!!!! Tappering down from 150, i went to 75 for 10 days.... then I went to prosac 20mg with half of the 75 (that would be 37.5) took it for 3 days together then went to a quarter of the 75mg with the prozac for 3 days and then dropped the effexor. i continued the prozac for 5 days and I am off everything. I think I will get back on the prozac just to take the edge off but I WILL NEVER take effexor again.....it was hell to get off of!!
