Anticoagulants and Thrombolytics

Anticoagulants prevent blood from clotting while Thrombolytics dissolve and disperse blood clots. Anticoagulants include Warfarin, Heparin, Certoparin, Bivalirudin, Dalteparin, Enoxaparin etc. Thrombolytics include t-PA, reteplase, tenecteplase, anistreplase, streptokinase and urokinase. Hi, my mother is 63 years old and she is taking Plavix for some time already. She is visiting her doctor regularly and he is very satisfied with her condition. However there is problem with her headaches which appears from time to time. I would like to know does Plavix cause headaches.

Where can i get plavix cheaper?

What are the real consequences of stopping coumadin after an aortic valve replacement? How likely is it to result in death? If so, what kind of time frame? I realize there is no exact answer to this, but a best educated stab is appreciated.

coumadin does make you gain !
