My joint stiffness

Overnight my hands got so they wouldn't close in the morning. They don't hurt, they just take a long time to be able to close. Could it be a vitamin deficiency or overdose? If I don't keep moving them during the day now, they are very stiff.

swelling in one finger in the morning

every morning for about a month now,i wake up with one swollen finger. It's the index on my rt hand. its the only one and no other types of swelling. the joint hurts :'( and after a hour or so it all goes away till the next morning.can anyone help ? . thanks.
