Bunionectomy and hammertoe surgery on second toe

Had my surgery on August 26. Seems to be Healing well. Still can't wear shoes or drive ( right foot). I do a lot of driving and walking for work. Anybody have an idea on how long I need to be off. Doc says at least 8 weeks?
