Shoulder pain and limited mmovement im my left arm.

An x ray revealed a problem with my rotators cuff consistent with an injury. That was 6 weeks ago and I now have limited movement in my left arm and increased pain. Could I be developing a 'frozen shoulder' and what should I be doing to relieve myself?
