hard lump on wrist joint

Any thoughts on this, people? I have a hard lump on my wrist joint that feels like a bone. It seems to be something like additional bone growth, and I am pretty sure that it should not really be there. Other people don't have this, I think! So what should I do about this? Should I see a doctor?

shooting pain in middle of left hand when pressure is put on it.

I get shooting pains in the middle of my left hand whenever im putting pressure on it. Whenever i put my hands out and put a bit of pressure on them my left hand gets a shooting sharp pain going right through the middle of my hand.
