Need more information about diabetes in children who are overweight

Hi, there. My kid is overweight. I am not sure how much exactly, but you can say he has a problem with obesity. While he was on his routine checkup, he was found higher levels of glucose. Doctors suspect diabetes. I will need more information about diabetes in children who are overweight.

Positive experiences with vitamins that lower blood glucose... anyone?

Does anyone use vitamins to help lower their blood glucose? I've heard that vitiamin C might do it. Is there anything else that helps lower blood glucose?

Diabetes - Eating at outdoor shows and festivals

Oh I have a situation.  I love to go to outdoor shows and festivals.  The smell of funnel cakes is intoxicating!  I would love to have all of the food that these places offer but for a diabetic, it is not possible.  I can't even have the homemade lemonade.  :(   Really, is there ANYTHING...

Test Strips - Complaint Response from the Dept of Health

Has anyone seen the complaint response from the Department of Health in reference to test strips?  The way I read it is that test strips cannot be refused to anyone.  Is that what you gather from the report?
