Will MRI scan determine whether I have acoustic neuromas?

Hello, my friends. I have some hearing problem and I went to a doctor. He suspects on acoustic neuromas, but he will need more tests to confirm it. I am wondering if MRI scan will determine whether I have this type of tumor or not. I will appreciate all your advices.
