Why You Should Leave Your Earwax Alone

New guidelines from the American Academy of Otolaryngology advise a let-it-be attitude and warn against removal of the earwax unless it is causing a problem. Apparently earwax, a bodily emanation we would rather go without, is pretty useful stuff in small amounts. It's bodily function is to serve...

Constant headache behind left ear.

Answered by a doctor

I've had a headache behind my left ear since last friday (13th) and it's been pretty much constant. At first I thought it was because of the newly bought sunglasses I was wearing on my head causing pressure so I took them off, however it continued. I was given glasses a few months ago but I...

mineres disease and stimulants

I was diagnosed with Mineres Disease in Jan. of this year. I'm wondering why they say to stay away from caffeine if you have it. My question is I want to know if it's just caffeine or all stimulants. Hard bump by ear piercing?

Answered by a doctor

I just recently developed a hard bump by my 4th piercing that goes up my ear. When I apply pressure to the back (where the bump is) blood or pus usually comes out. It isn't a normal pus like when you first get your ears pierced, I'm almost positive it's infected. It's not super painful, but...
