Presbyacusis

I think that I have partial loss of hearing. It has become difficult for me to hear sounds clearly. How can I check if it is presbyacusis? I read something about this disorder and that there is relation between early hearing loss and smoking. What else can lead to develop of presbyacusis?

Tightness Behind Left Ear

I have had tightness behind both ears but my left ear is the worst. It's like little ball between my ears, just in front the tendon to the neck. It is worse when I get a cold and I do have sinus problems for years due to allergies. Has anyone experienced something like this?
