Should i do two races or just dedicate myself to one?

So, there is four weeks between the two races... Should I attempt to do both? Or just do one, and be done with it. I am really leaning towards doing both right now, just wanted some of your experienced opinions.

I am trying to build stamina and power for sprints

I am trying to build stamina, and power for sprints, such as 70 to 80 meters or yards 10 to 15 times. Will sprinting up steep hills help to get to the point of sprinting 15 to 20 times. I really need to work on the jog, sprint, jog, sprint system. Thank for any hints
