Tips for strengthening upper back?

I want to have stronger back. I would like to have that V shape of my body and be able to handle heavier weight. I need to develop bigger back muscles. Do you have any idea how can I do this? What is called that back muscle I need to develop?

How much is too much exercise? I workout pretty intensively for around 30 mins a day, 4 days in 5 witha rest day in between.... Is this too much?

Increase strength but keeping light weight
