Do you use Splenda?

Have you ever used Splenda for baking? I made some chocolate chip cookies last night with Splenda and they tasted more like the "soft" chocolate chip cookies rather than the "hard" ones I like. (get your mind out of the gutter!!!!) I'm not impressed...not to mention that crap is EXPENSIVE!!!!

I am a big fan of hard candy, all kinds. Yet I keep coming back to Gobstoppers, especially since they've now made them smaller. I used to love Sprees, but now I can only find the chewy ones and they're simply not the same.

Smaller intake of coffe or something to replace it?

So, as many of you know, I am a coffee lover. I could drink it all day, well most of the day anyway. I'm trying to cut back on my caffeine intake, and the wife bought me some of that "lite" or whatever it's called 1/2 caffenated stuff. It's not too bad, but it's not as good as my normal java....

What are your thoughts on pria power bars?

Power Bar company makes them and they are yummy!!! Not one of the best energy bars, but it's a great afternoon snack and it's enough to satisfy my candy bar craving. I really love the french vanilla crisp. They have... 110 calories 3g fat 4g soy protein lots of vitamins, etc.
