Braeburn is my favorite of what I can consistently get here in Texas.....they are crunchy and sweet/tart....lots of flavor......back in Michigan, I had all kinds of choices, but I can't even remember the names anymore........does Jonathan Grimes ring a bell?

I like Gala, Fuji, Granny Smith, Mcantosh, and what used to be callled Jonagold. We can't get the Jonagold here anymore, unfortunately.

I like crunchy and crisp and tart. No mushy.
