Difference between unstable and firm fracture

My wife has been in a car accident a month ago and she is fine now, even though she had several broken bones. Doctors also told there were some unstable fractures that might have complicated later, but they did not. Can you tell me what is the difference between unstable and firm fractures?

one month post op new pain

One month ago I had laproscopic surgery and developed a mild staph infection. Doctor re-opened to allow drainage. It is now 4 weeks later wound is still draining (and smells), doctor said everything "looks fine". the last 2 days I have had severe abdominal and lower back pain, pressure and "crampy"...

chronic wrist pain

I have chronic wrist pain.Nerve test normal the dr says my ulna about 2 mm longer than normal and that  if pain gets worse return for injection in wrist. when pain increases splint and anti inflamitory.I need some help and dont want more guessing.Any idea what this could be?

My knee is makeing me not be able to walk!
