"soft" bowel movements in the morning

The past few years I have been having soft (not loose) bowel movements. But only when I get up really early in the morning. (I work an early shift) If I get up later in the day (ie weekend) there is no issue. Anyone have any ideas?

Black diarhea after motion sickness
