I was diagnosed with gastritis 1 month ago. I am a little better but it does not go away.

I went to the doctor because of some upper abdominal pain I had. She said it was due to gastritis and I been taking omeprazone so far. I am an active person and during hose 3 weeks I been eating as healthy as possible. Avoiding any irritants that could upset my stomach. I been progressively but slowly getting better. I still have some of the pains although they are not as bad as before but I tried running the other day and I did have some pains as if gas was trapped in my intestines and did hurt and kept me for running. I also have mild pains during the nights. They last for like 5 min and usually have them when I am sitting down or laying down and at night before going to bed and sometime when I wake up but they get better as the day passes. I used to have pain right after eating but since I started with omeprazone and also started taking a lot of camomile tea the symptoms have gotten better. now is rarely through the day and usually before going to bed. I kind of started to have a little bit of back pain but not too much.

the pains are not really intense but they sometimes do get uncomfortable. I haven't had any nausea or blood in my stool or vomit. My stool however has turn light brown and sometimes kind of green and one time (yesterday) I went to the bathroom and expelled a little bit of diarrhea that kind of look like mucus or just liquid but it was a very small amount.
