31 year old with no menstrual cycle

I am 31 an I have not had a menstral cycle since march 08. I have been to the dr where they put me on provera, this did not work. I really don't want it if it is not absolutly nessacery that I need it. is it harmful for a woman not to get her menstral cycle? ?

light bleeding after period and intercourse

I got my periods on the 12th of June, it was 4-5 days. On the 21st I had intercourse which my boyfriend came in me. On the 27th I experienced a slight red mark on my underwear and a pinkish brown colour and when I wiped. It stopped but the next day i wiped it appeared again. What could it be?
