I'm 34 and not on any birth control. I've had my period for 3 weeks after. It was very light for a week and a half but then it got heavier again. I don't know if it'll go away by itself or if I should go to the doctor. I am starting a new job so I though maybe it was due to stress? I haven't taken b.c. for 3 years since just a year after I had my son.
