How am I supposed stretching my muscles-should I be stretching muscles before, during or after my jogging training. about a pulled muscle

i am having this problem. the pain is in my shoulder, sometimes move down my arm, and underneath my armpits. just did not know a pulled muscle can do so much damage. i go to curves every morning i just try not to put alot of pressure on it.
