Cheek Swelling-dental abscess?

How dental abscess looks like? I think I have one inside my cheek. My check is swollen and painful but from the inside. Do I need to see physician or a dentist about this? It is very bad, I thought that I just hurt myself with food but it is much worse ad it seems.
