So not many people seem to be posting about this any more. Has someone found a topical cream that actually works? I went to see my doctor today who didn't even have a clue what Fordyce spots/SP was. when I filled him in he refused to prescribe me Tretinoin! Anyone know where I can buy this in the UK? Also would love to hear about any home remedies people have tried RECENTLY. I've been taking vitamins everyday and eat sh*t loads of garlic now but it still seems to be getting worse. Or maybe I just think it' getting worse being paranoid about it. Would it be worth me going to see a dermatologist? Would there be anything they could prescribe? I really wouldn't feel comportable stabing holes in my lips and squeezing these things out + there are to many my whole top lip is covered! Write back guys

I just went to my dermatologist, who's been great about other problems. He said there was nothing I could do about them. At the time he looked there weren't many and they were small. Now they have multiplied and are VERY bothersome! They seem to make my lips feel chapped 24/7. I am a woman and have them, even though things I've read have said it's mostly men who have them. Does anyone know what causes them? I am 56 years old and as far as I know, I've never had them before.
