Tooth extraction, now I'm having terrible taste in my mouth

Hi.  I had a tooth out 2 days ago and  it  was infected before it was removed as I had a severe tooth ache. It's been 2 days and  I have really got a horrible taste and it makes me feel sick and it's sore what can I do? I keep using salt water but the taste is so bad.....
