Prescription Stimulants

Prescription stimulants are drugs that make you more alert and wakeful. They stimulate both the central nervous system and sympathetic nervous system and often produce euphoric feelings. Stimulants are used to treat narcolepsy and other sleep disorders and help patients with ADD or ADHD. The most used stimulants are Ritalin, Concerta, Adderall and Adderall XR although there are some improved drugs called eugeroics. Modafinil and adrafinil, marketed as Provigil and Olmifon belong to this class.

Experiencing dizziness and headaches after starting adderall

I was just diagnosed with ADD at 26 years old and began taking adderall yesterday. I took 10mg in the morning and 10mg in the late afternoon, it made me dizzy and really tired when it started to wear off, plus a bad headache. I dont feel like I focused any more on it, just sort of a coma state....
