50% shortened closed cervix, -3 station at 32 weeks

I went to the doctor today and had an internal exam- I am 32.5 weeks pregnant, the dr said that I have a 50% shortened closed cervix and baby is at -3. Is this normal at this point in pregnancy or is it a sign that he'll probably come early?
