Social withdrawal-is that the beginning of the new schizophrenic episode?

I know this person who has gone through a couple of schizophrenic episodes before, and now he has become all introverted and withdrawn. My guess is that this is the beginning of a new schizophrenic episode. What do you folks think? Could I be right, or do you think this is unrelated?
