My STDs test came back positive for chlamydia, but I haven't had sex in the last 2 months

i went to go get tested for STD/HIV/AIDS my tests came back negative i got to my gynecologist 2 weeks after n she tests everyone for STDS and i came back positive for chlamydia and it had been 2 months since i was last sexually active im just so confused on how this is possible?

I think more research needs to be done on most stds. On how you can actually catch something. I see so many couples that believes in each other that end up getting a std. For example if you take someone to the e.r. that has over dosed and you are hands on helping the nurse get them settled in....
