I recently found out i had Chlamydia and went and got treatment the next day of 1 dose of azithromycin. I was so mortified I had it, that I waited at 8 weeks and got retested. Which came back positive again! I'm now on a 7 day week 2x a day course of doxycycline. 

I have had no sexual contact or sex before the last time I found out, so over 9 weeks ago.  Is there any reason as to why the treatment didn't work? 

And are you allowed sexual contact through clothes, I.e. dry humping.  Myself and new partner (who is clear) are too sexually frustrated. And it's a while to wait 8 weeks again to get retested to see if it's cleared finally.
