sciatic nerve damage from radiation?

My mom has had ovarian cancer and had radiation to minimize an iliac lymph node tumor. Good news is that it did diminish it. Bad news is that she has horrible pressure on her vagina area which we think is fallout from radiation. Could her sciatic nerve been damaged?

I may have to have neck surgery due to DJD. I am in pain all the time in my neck and now at the burning stage in my neck. Does anyone know if you can still move your head the same way before surgery. I am afraid my neck will be frozen in one position.
