one tonsil is raw and hurts to swallow

my tonsil on the right side of throat is in agony, its red and looks only slightly inflammed however only causes discomfort when swallowing. it does look sore, you could even say it looks like its cut up a little. any ideas?

I was driving and I took a bite of food and then take a swallow of my drink and my body trys to burp and I can't and then I feel myself trying to pass out.. This happens also sometimes when I just eat and not drink.. It does not happen all the time.. Can anyone give my an idea what is going on?...

I had a Tonsillectomy, 9 Days ago (27th ocotber) and i seem to be in the worst pain yet :-( I have really bad ear pain when i eat and my throat seems to hurt extremley ive been to the doctors incase of any chance of infection and the said that there is no infection and everything is healing up...
