Is heliotrope rash symptom of JDMS?

Can you help me with my problem here? My child is 7 years old and he has some weird heliotrope rash. A friend said that it is a symptom of the JDMS and I would like to know if there is a need for me to take him to the doctor or is this something that will retreat on its own.

Do all children with Down syndrome have heart defects?

Hello, guys. My friends have a three years old kid, but he has Down syndrome. He has been recently found out heart defect and I think he must go to the surgery. I would like to know if all children with Down syndrome have heart defects. Is this necessary? Thank you for all your opinions.
