Could I prevent diabetes type 1 in my children?

I and my husband both are suffering from diabetes type 1. We live almost a normal life, but nevertheless we always have limits for some things. We have two children. So far they are fine and healthy. But I still wonder could I prevent diabetes type 1 in my children? Is there some procedure?
