i have been using the contraceptive pill for 5 years with no ill affects but decided to give my body a break from it. my periods came every month and all went back to normal except i had bad pains and they were a lot heavier. i was off it for 7 months before deciding to go back on it. i took the advice of thew nurse to wait until my next period. however, i took the first pill as i felt it coming (i.e. before i had started bleeding properly) i took it again the next day and only had a few brown spots rather than a normal flow i had experience the first time i took the pill. and now it has stopped completly. is this normal? or should i have waited until i was in full flow. also does this protect me straight away or should i use extra protection?

the pill has really bad side effects on the body, it makes your body think its pregnant which in turn ages the womb. It is an abortifacient. It is also reported to cause breast cancer along with other types of cancer. Is linked to many joint problems and even bowel disorders if i were you id stop taking it all together.
