okOi was stupid enough to miss my contraceptive pill yesterday, i also didn't take todays until dinnertime. It seems like I started my period a few hours ago. Is there any way to stop this as I have a pretty big weekend coming up?
I heard it was pretty much impossible to stop your period once its started but I didn't know if it could work when on the pill. I take microgynon 30.

If you only have a few pills left in your pack i would just stop them, have my period, and start a new pack after. If your just starting up a pack and missed 2, took them together and got your period, or is it just spotting, i.e. breakthru bleeding. Continue the pack, the bleeding may not stop all together. It is very important that you stay on your schedule of taking your bc. If you forget, place them someplace where you will be sure not to miss them. Set them beside your toothbrush, next to your coffee pot, beside your computer. If you take them at nite, set them on your bedside table next to your clock, they will be the last thing you see before you go to sleep.
