No bleeding after the medical abortion?

I just had the misoprostol inserted today. Approximately 8-9 hours ago.. The doctor told me that the bleeding was supposed to occur between 1-5 after it was inserted, but I haven't experienced anything but severe cramps.. Could something have gone wrong?
