Can bladder inflammation be caused by ureter surgery?

I had a hysterectomy six months ago and the ureter was cut by accident. A stent was put in place and removed six weeks after. I felt pain in my bladder when urinating. I had testing done and is inflammation of the bladder. Could this be caused by the surgery?

Post Op Pain 3 months after Ureter Creation/Reconstruction

Hello All.  My doctor had to use a small piece of my small intestine (ileal) to replace my right damaged ureter.  I still have pain 3 months later.  Feels like where the Ileal was attached to what's left of the ureter near the kidney.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks....
