swelling after total knee replacement

I had a total knee replaccement on my right knee 8 months ago. Since I have been back to work, after sitting for an hour my ankle, leg, and knee swell up. My other leg is fine. I worry about blood clots.

I had bad urinary infection 3 months ago and treated it with ciprobay for about 6 weeks. It helped and symptoms left but recently I was diagnosed osteomyelitis that was caused by this previous infection. My leg bone is affected by bacteria, is very tender, a bit swollen and painful.
