Corticosteroids (Hormonal preparations)

Corticosteroids are drugs related to cortisol, a hormone produced in the adrenal cortex. Corticosteroids are used primarily as anti-inflammatories but could be also used for treating some malignancies or natural hormone deficiency. Corticosteroid Drugs Include: Betamethasone (Celestone), Budesonide (Entocort EC), Cortisone (Cortone), Dexamethasone (Decadron), Hydrocortisone (Cortef), Prednisolone (Prelone), Prednisone (Deltasone) and Triamcinolone (Kenacort, Kenalog).

I have been prescribed progesterone, and am hoping for some input about the side effects. Though my doctor told me that I have nothing to worry about, I am still a bit unsure. If someone could take the time to tell me if progesterone has any side effects, I would appreciate that a lot!

Predisone side effects

4 days prior to going for a physical which included a urine test i had taken predisone for a kidney discomfort i had been having for a few weeks. my urine test showed that i had blood in my urine. would taking ths medication have caused this blood in my urine? or is there another underlying problem?

My sister delivered her second baby a week ago. Baby is great but my sister has a problem. She told me that site where epidural injection was made swelled. She is suffering from a big pain. She thinks that she has an abscess and she will go to doctor tomorrow. Anybody had a similar problem?

numbness in hand, pinky and ring finger

I have had 2 cervical injections in my neck, the last one being approx. 4 weeks ago. Last Tuesday I awoke with numbness in my ring finger, pinky and hand. My hand is weak and I cannot perform everyday tasks. It has been this way for a week now.
