Cowlick. Changing Hairstyle part to fix it?

I have a cow-lick right where my bangs start/my hair is divided. I was wondering could i move my part over more and then cut more bangs in, would that help stop the splitting?

Silverkrin Hair Lotion (liquid not cream or spray)

This product kept me a good head of hair up to eighty last year it was unobtainable in UK (Wella German company) and I'm losing hair rapidy after using it for 20 - 30 years. Used to use Nutrilene but that too went off market :-(
