Can diabetics with heart disease use aspirin?

Hello, folks. My father has been suffering from diabetes for years. However, lately he has developed some heart disease. I would recommend him aspirin, but I am not sure that he is allowed to due he is being diabetic. I would appreciate if someone could clarify me this. Thank you in advance.

Exceptionally tired since starting insulin

I have a question about my husband who has newly been diagnosed with diabetes and now takes his own blood sugar during the day, which has been a bit of an adjustment for the whole family. This afternoon, his blood sugar was blood sugar 168. Isn't that crazy high? Should we go to the ER?
